Meet Jack

Jack is a clown school disciple and a Catholic school survivor, so they know a thing or two about wearing masks to protect themself. That got them far as an actor in New York and historical reenactor in New Mexico. But after coming out as trans in a clown class in Amsterdam (yeah, really), Jack realized that the masks we all wear hide the laughs, tears and everything else that makes being human so absurd. As such, Jack writes about the power of finding the true self.

Jack’s writing has been recognized by the Austin Film Festival, the Annenberg Foundation, and the Mellody Hobson/George Lucas Family Foundation. Jack has written, directed, and produced films under the mentorship of Bryce Dallas Howard and Emmy-winning documentarians Almudena Carracedo & Robert Bahar. They hold an MFA in Screenwriting from USC and a BFA in Drama from NYU. They live in Los Angeles.

When not writing, Jack climbs rocks, rides bikes, plays bluegrass, and hunts down the best croissant in town. Jack is open to suggestions for the best places for any of those things.
